Simple 4‑Step Admission Process

Follow these easy steps to secure a place for your child at Letlotlo Primary School.

Download the application form below or collect a printed copy from our admin office.

Prepare Documents

Gather required documents: birth certificate, latest report, ID of parent/guardian, proof of residence.

Submit Application

Return completed forms and documents to the school office or email to letlotlops@gmail.com.

Assessment & Offer

We will contact you for an assessment (if applicable) and confirm placement.

  • Child's unabridged birth certificate
  • ID of parent / legal guardian
  • Latest school report (if transferring)
  • Proof of residence (municipal account or affidavit)
  • 2 x passport-size photos of the child
  • Immunisation / clinic card (for Grade R & 1)

Everything you need to know about admissions at Letlotlo Primary.

What is the age requirement for Grade R?
Children must turn 5 years old by 31 December of the year they start Grade R. For Grade 1, the child must be 6 by 31 December.
Is there an admission assessment?
Yes, for Grades 1–7 we conduct a short assessment to understand the child's developmental level. It is not a pass/fail test but helps us place them appropriately.
Do you offer financial assistance?
Yes, we have a limited number of bursaries and fee payment plans. Please contact our finance office for more details.
What if my child has special educational needs?
We are an inclusive school with learning support educators. Please share any assessments or reports so we can provide the best support.
Can I apply online?
Currently, you can download the forms and email them to letlotlops@gmail.com. We are working on an online portal – coming soon!
When will I know if my child is accepted?
Placement offers are sent out by 30 November. You will receive an email or phone call, followed by an official letter.
